The Musician's Council on Fair Wages is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit created to reinforce the unification process for New Orleans musicians and help them align themselves personally and professionally. Our goal is to help systematically bridge the economic gap between how much musicians are compensated for performances currently versus the amount club owners/event planners (public & private) are willing to pay for their services.

South Arts nonprofit offers grant programs

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, South Arts is a nonprofit regional arts organization empowering artists, organizations, and communities, and increasing access to arts and culture.  We've posted a new article about currently active grant programs.
Giving Tuesday is coming up Tuesday, November 28. We are ramping up our efforts to support our local musicians. Please help us run the site and develop programs. Visit our donation page!

The MCFW works with local NOLA businesses and parallel non-profits to connect our community with those who can employ and assist them in their livelihoods.
